How to Teach Effective Synthetic Phonics
A whole day training event for teachers and
teaching assistants new to synthetic phonics.
Here is another fantastic opportunity to attend a whole day interactive training session for teachers, teaching assistants and learning support assistants new to synthetic phonics. The training is suitable for staff teaching and supporting children with reading and writing in infant, junior, primary, special and secondary schools.
At the end of the session delegates will:
Have a clear understanding of the development of speaking and listening skills underpinning phonics
Have a clear understanding of synthetic phonics
Understand how the different phases of phonics fit together
Understand how to plan and teach effective discrete sessions
Understand how to support phonics learning throughout the curriculum
Refreshments and lunch will be provided.
